Critical Response to Conflict

A Critical Response to Conflict

Following the April 2023 conflict, Sudan entered one of its most destructive civil wars. This crisis has fragmented communities, displaced millions, and amplified hate speech.

Amid state collapse, grassroots peace actors are essential for sustaining coexistence. BIPS responds by equipping these local actors to analyze, prevent, and transform conflicts, counter harmful narratives, and foster trauma-sensitive reconciliation.

Our Approach

BIPS empowers youth, women, and civil society organizations (CSOs) to lead conflict transformation. We use a multi-layered and adaptive approach combining community-driven peacebuilding, digital resilience, and trauma-informed engagement.
